Cardiac PET provides unparalleled images of blood flow to the heart, enabling the detection of blockages in the coronary arteries.  Cardiac PET shows your true heart performance under stress conditions thus aiding in the appropriate diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.

A normal Cardiac PET study has demonstrated a less than 1% risk of a cardiac event within one year.

Unlike traditional stress testing, exercise is not necessary and the study can be completed in about a half hour.

Check with your physician to see if cardiac PET imaging is right for you.
