Six Years, Still Counting
Staff, family and friends of Advanced Imaging have made Susan G. Komen For The Cure the major local fund-raising and educational event for women’s breast health in the region. “The five-year mark is especially signficant to people with breast cancer,” said Harminder Gill, M.D. “It is a milestone,” she said.
Advanced Imaging’s Center for Women held down 14 starter positions in the signature race held this spring. This year’s Race for the Cure raised funds For the Cure through the state of Florida and locally. Advance Imaging Medical Director Thomas Fabian, M.D., and Harmindar Gill, M.D., both serve on its advisory and leadership boards.
